Participation at LOPEC 2018
At the Trade fair and conference for printed electronics (LOPEC 2018), our work on printed smart eyeglasses was presented. The conference was held during March 13-15, 2018 in Munich, Germany.
Title: Digitally Personalised 3D-printed Smart Eyeglasses for Physiological and Behavioural Monitoring
Authors: Oliver Amft, Rui Zhang, Florian Wahl
Description: Smart regular-look eyeglasses can support their wearer in a variety of everyday life tasks and provide continuous sensor measurements in parallel. Personalisation of the eyeglasses frame matches anatomical landmarks of the skull and musculature, and thus provides high quality sensor data while ensuring wearer comfort. The skin contact of personalised eyeglasses frames offers various options to create direct body interfaces, for measuring physiological functions as well as interaction. We are investigating conductive materials for long-term direct skin contact.
